BIG SPRING - Free food is being offered to children in Big Spring and all they need to do is show up.

The Summer Round-Up Program kicked off on Monday with breakfast and lunch at different schools around Big Spring.

They had a big celebration which included Big Spring Mayor Tommy Duncan and a local artist played music for the kids.

The program ensures kids in the community have enough to eat through the summer.

Kids from one to 18 years old can get the free lunch, and they don't have to go to school in Big Spring.
