EUNICE, NEW MEXICO - When school starts up again in the fall, students in Eunice will see a few changes.
Several months ago, voters passed a 42 million dollar school bond and that cash will go towards three big projects.
Softball players will have a new complex for games and practices, along with a community-wide exercise facility.
A new elementary school is also being constructed.
The new school will be larger and sit adjacent to the existing campus.
City leaders tell NewsWest 9, the existing campus was built in the 1930's and has fallen into disrepair.
Construction will begin in August.
