ECTOR COUNTY - A West Odessa man is behind bars charged in a weekend shooting.
Turns out the suspect already has some unfinished business with the law.
21-year-old Hector Sanchez turned himself in Tuesday morning to Ector County authorities.
They were searching for him following a shooting this past weekend.
Deputies say Sanchez opened fire at a Glenn Street party early Saturday morning, hitting a victim in the back.
We're told deputies found several shell casings in the street, but the victim had already been taken to the hospital.
That victim underwent surgery and is expected to be ok.
After speaking with the victim, a warrant was issued for Sanchez's arrest.
Sanchez is also accused of shooting two people at the West Texas Racetrack in September of 2008.
He surrendered to authorities the day after the incident happened and bonded out of jail.
That case has still not gone to court.
Sanchez is still behind bars and no bond has been set.
He's been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
