PECOS - Recent storms in Pecos damaged a city landmark. Now, the city has found a way to fix it.

Heavy rainfall went straight through the roof of the train depot wreaking havoc on the historical structure.

On Thursday night, the city council voted to use $47,000 from their hotel/motel occupancy tax to pay for repairs.

That building has sat empty for years...but the city has been trying to fix it up to house the Chamber of Commerce.
