PECOS - In just a few weeks, the streets in Pecos will start looking a little different.
The city council set aside about $170,000 to begin repairs on five main city streets.
Contractors will begin ripping up the roads and laying down new pavement during the month of June.
City officials tell NewsWest 9, almost every road in town needs to be torn up and completely re-done.
The potholes and damage are so bad that they can't just be patched up anymore.
