ODESSA - New details on a story NewsWest 9 first brought you on Friday after a man was arrested following a scuffle with an officer.
The officer ended up firing his weapon at the suspect's tire to stop him from getting away, and it turns out three more people were arrested in connection to the case.
The Midland DEA found those three additional suspects in an Odessa building with drugs and weapons.
It only happened because an Ector County Sheriff's Deputy pulled over 22-year-old Arnold Mendoza and eventually found him in possession of marijuana, and according to DEA agents, 10 ounces of cocaine.
He's facing charges of evading and resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance.
Following that arrest, a federal judge granted DEA agents a warrant to search a building on "A" Avenue in Odessa.
There they found more cocaine, two fire arms and three suspects; Javier Mendoza, Robert Perez and Sherry Aguirre.
All four are now behind bars at the Odessa Detention Center, and they're set to appear in federal court for a hearing on Thursday.
