LEA COUNTY - The Arizona immigration law is gaining support from the sheriff of Lea County.

Sheriff Rod Coffman says he's all for it, but added he's opposed to racial profiling.

He says securing our borders is essential to the safety of Lea County.

And as sheriff, he's seen first hand the crimes related to inadequate border security.

Coffman's currently fighting to repeal the law that allows illegal immigrants to carry New Mexico driver's licenses.
