For three years, Reeves County and the City of Pecos have been battling it out over water and sewer rates.
But now a lawsuit over the issue is one step closer to being resolved.
In the new agreement, they're proposing identical rates for homeowners living in the county and the city.
The resolution was written by county commissioners, who are asking for a five-year-long contract.
