More Than $100,000 Coming to Midland/Odessa to Help the Homeless

MIDLAND/ODESSA - The fight against homelessness is getting a helping hand from the state.

$4.9 million dollars in funding is being divided statewide.

More than $100,000 is coming to the Midland-Odessa area to help the homeless find a permanent home.

This money will be used to renovate or convert buildings to use as emergency shelters as well as provide services to homeless individuals.

Midland Fair Havens and the Salvation Army in Odessa both received grant money.
