ODESSA - An Odessa man and his girlfriend are in jail after a two hour standoff with police.

Police tell NewsWest 9, they set up a perimeter around the man's house just to make sure no one got hurt.

After a lengthy negotiation, both suspects gave themselves up.

Police say the standoff started with 28-year-old Efren Hernandez, Junior.

Hernandez was wanted for an outstanding felony warrant.

Officers went to his home on Snyder to arrest him.

That's when they say Hernandez ran inside and wouldn't come out.

His girlfriend, 23-year-old Crystal Victoria Marceleno, was also inside.

Police say she also had an outstanding warrant.

In just under two hours, police convinced the pair to come out with their hands up.

Both of them are in the Ector County Jail.

No one was hurt in the standoff.
