ECTOR COUNTY - A Pecos man is behind bars after being arrested in Ector County.
The Ector County Sheriff's Office pulled over Ruben Barreno Thursday for a traffic violation at Clements and Grant. Authorities found almost 67 grams of heroin and $1,936 in cash.
DPS narcotics officers in Alpine searched Barreno's home in Pecos where and additional 28.4 grams of heroin was found. In total, the heroin has a value of over $19,000.
