New Details Released in Connection with a Big Spring Man Arrested on Numerous Charges

MIDLAND - New details about the Big Spring man arrested in Midland with a disturbing collection of items.

Juan Guerra remains in the Midland County jail after officers found gags, a stun gun, a revolver, and other items that could be used to kidnap and sexually assault someone inside his car.

They also found child pornography on his computer.

On Thursday, NewsWest 9 learned Guerra used to be operations manager at a refinery in Bakersfield, California.

KGET TV reports he worked there from 2006 to 2009 and was laid off when the parent company filed for bankruptcy.

Guerra is currently being held on a $626,000 bond.
