Man Arraigned in Connection with Elderly Abuse Case in Big Spring

HOWARD COUNTY - New details in the case against a Big Spring man arrested on charges of abusing elderly patients at a veteran's home.

25-year-old Bryson Vanderbilt was arraigned on Wednesday morning at the Howard County Courthouse.

He's a former employee at Big Spring's Lamun-Lusk-Sanchez Texas State veterans home.

Vanderbilt, and another co-worker, Connie Mae Johnson were indicted in March on charges of abusing elderly patients.

So far, Johnson hasn't been arrested in the case.

If found guilty, Vanderbilt faces from two to twenty years in prison.
