KERMIT - A bomb scare forced the bomb squad to be called into Kermit High School on Wednesday.
Agents scoured the halls and classrooms for two hours.
A threatening phone call sparked the search putting authorities on high alert.
We're told it started around two Wednesday afternoon, when the school secretary received a phone call about a bomb in the building.
School officials immediately evacuated more than 300 students.
That's when Kermit Police, State Troopers, Texas Rangers and the Odessa Bomb Squad came in and began their search.
The investigation took more than two hours to complete before authorities cleared the scene.
There's no word on who phoned in that phony call.
Classes will resume on a normal schedule on Thursday.
