Suspect Wanted in Connection with Four Armed Robberies Strikes Again

MIDLAND - As the manhunt continues for a Midland robbery suspect, already wanted in connection with four armed robberies, struck again on Tuesday morning.

The latest robbery happened at the Comfort Inn and Suites on I-20, just before 2:00a.m. Tuesday morning.

Police say the suspect pretended to be talking on the phone when he walked in, pulled a gun, and pointed it at the clerk's head.

He threatened the clerk and demanded cash, then ran out the front door.

The description on this suspect is close to the guy police are already looking for in connection with the robberies of the Knights Inn, Pizza Hut, and IHOP on Sunday and Monday.

Police are looking for a black man in his 30's, wearing all black and diamond stud earrings, with a short, trimmed beard.
