An Odessa man has learned his fate after being involved in a cocaine distribution conspiracy.

29-year-old Ismael Acosta Juarez was sentenced to seven years behind bars for the crime.

Back in January, a federal grand jury found Juarez guilty on three distribution charges.

Officials said that Juarez participated in the conspiracy in the Midland/Odessa area.

During a search warrant, authorities discovered approximately 378 grams of cocaine and over $2,000 in cash, and other drug paraphernalia.

During the trial, Juarez and other suspects were found responsible for distributing a total of 746 grams of cocaine throughout the region.
