HOWARD COUNTY - A Howard County company is about to grow even more thanks to some recently approved tax incentives.

The Howard County Commissioner's court approved a tax re-imbursement program for Plains Cotton Cooperative Association on Monday.

That will reimburse the company for their county taxes over the next five years.

The warehouse company recently completed an eight-million dollar expansion and added 10 jobs.

The company is planning another two million dollar expansion and hopes to add a few more jobs.

Company officials say this is a good thing not only for them, but for the county.

Plains Cotton Cooperative Association stores cotton for local farmers from surrounding counties.

The expanded facility will mean about 3,500 trucks will be traveling through Howard County as well.
