MIDLAND - A new tool to save lives is now in the hands of the Midland Fire Department thanks to local volunteers.
Firefighters received a new thermal imaging camera from the Midland Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association.
The group helped raise money to purchase fire and rescue equipment.
The camera replaces aging thermal cameras that are over 11-years-old.
The cameras are credited for saving several lives in burning buildings.
Now with new technology, the new camera is even more efficient and reliable.
