Six Convenience Stores in Ector County Busted for Selling Tobacco to a Minor

ODESSA - A handful of convenience stores in trouble after a month-long tobacco sting.

Six clerks in six stores were busted in Odessa and Ector County for selling tobacco to minors.

The police department visited nearly 70 stores total and rounded up clerks who sold to anyone underage.

All those clerks will have to be in court to answer to the charges soon.

The following businesses were issued citations:

  • C H Las Jarras, 902 S. Crane
  • Oasis Drive Thru, 601 W. Clements
  • La Bodega Drive Thru, 1201 S. Grant

The following businesses will be issued a summons from the Ector County Justice of the Peace Office:

  • J & R Grocery Store, 10261 S. Highway 385
  • Texas Pride, 16514 S. Highway 385
  • Smokers Outlet, 4098 W. University
