Bowie Junior High Lockdown Lifted

ODESSA - Odessa Police are still investigating after a hit and run wreck forced Bowie Junior High to lock its doors.

The school went into lockdown this afternoon just before 3:00 p.m. when three teenage boys ran into the building.

We're told the boys were in a truck that crashed into a house a couple of blocks away on 19th and Lincoln. When police showed up to the campus, two of the teens came out. The third was arrested inside.

No weapons were found and school officials say students and staff were never in any danger. All three suspects are in police custody and will be charged with criminal trespass.
