STANTON - A pricey pup could mean felony charges for a Stanton mom and daughter.

Some folks from Dalhart brought their English Bulldog with them to the Old Sorehead Trade Days in Stanton.

The bulldog was valued at $1,800.
When it went missing for two-days, the couple called authorities.

Deputies found the dog at the mom and daughter's trailer house.

Martin County Sheriff John Woodward isn't sure if the pup's owners will press charges.
If they do, it could be a felony since the dog was worth more than $1,500.
