MIDLAND - An eight liner bust in Midland nets thousands of dollars in cash.
Sheriff's detectives busted four illegal gambling operations over the weekend.
Bling Bling Games on Midland and Illinois was shut down by detectives this past weekend.
On Monday, the Sheriff's Department seized a number of eight liner machines from the business.
In all, the Sheriff's Department hit four places in Midland, where they collected 240 machines and seized $38,000 in cash.
The machines inside these businesses are so advanced that Las Vegas is just now getting some of them.
This group that was busted is also responsible for illegal gambling operations in Ector County and Taylor County.
Undercover detectives posed as customers and say they were paid for their winnings, which is illegal.
"They were very cautious. They would ask ‘are they good,' they knew they were violating the law," Midland County Sheriff, Gary Painter, said.
The evidence will now go to the District Attorney's office and then those employees will be arrested.
Sheriff's officials say some of the customers will be called as witnesses.
