PECOS - Pecos city officials will meet on Wednesday to hear evidence on the alleged overcharges from the Texas-New Mexico power company.

Pecos city leaders estimate the power company has been overcharging them by as much as $100,000 on street lighting.

This all started last year after Fort Stockton received a reimbursement on overages.
The City of Pecos decided to launch their own investigation.

The public hearing starts at 1:30p.m. at City Hall.
