Two Men Indicted in Connection with a Deadly Shooting in Odessa

ODESSA - Multiple indictments were handed down on Thursday for two men accused in a deadly Odessa shooting.

An Ector County grand jury slapped 20 year-old Sunny Hignojos with a murder indictment.

The man was also indicted on multiple counts of attempted murder, along with 20-year old Rafael Alvarez, Junior.

The shooting happened back in January at a home on west 26th.

18-year old Jaime Morales was killed and four others were injured.

Ector County District Attorney Bobby Bland tells NewsWest 9, both are facing aggravated assault and evading arrest charges as well.

If convicted, both men could face up to 99 years behind bars.
