Body Found in Burned Shed in Reeves County

REEVES COUNTY - The Reeves County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a body was found in burned shed.

The Reeves County Sheriff's Office tells NewsWest9 a missing person's report was filed Tuesday night. Officers went to look for the missing person on a piece of property off of FM 869. That is where officers found a burned, one-room shed with a body inside.

The body has been sent to a crime lab in Lubbock. Authorities do not have any identification on the body at this time.

Deputies are looking for the missing person's vehicle at this time. It is described as a gray 2000 Chevy extended cab truck. The truck has a decal sticker on its back window of three cowboys riding away from a mountain. The truck has Texas plates with numbers AJ0-7515.
