ANDREWS - Good news and bad news for law enforcement in Andrews.

The Police Chief tells NewsWest 9, over the past year they've seen about a 15 percent spike in property crimes.

That's mostly due to a changing economy, and a growing city population.

But the good news, assault cases are down by about 25 percent.

The chief says the number of sexual assault cases have dipped, more specifically, cases against children.
