RANKIN - Rankin results are in and voters sided with the hospital.

Officials say the numbers were pretty close.

288 people voted and 61 votes were all that separated the yes and no votes, but ultimately residents decided to keep the current tax rate to keep funds flowing to the hospital.

Hospital Administrator Brent Wrinkle says he's pleased the tax rate held up and that the hospital can keep providing top-notch care to patients.
