Midland Man Sentenced in Connection With a Deadly Crash

MIDLAND - A Midland man will spend the next seven years in prison after admitting to causing a deadly crash.

28-year-old William Robert Hale pleaded guilty to intoxication manslaughter in connection with the fiery wreck that killed his passenger Ariel Corley.

That crash happened back in October on Loop 250, where hale hit a culvert and flipped his SUV, which burst into flames.

Corley died at the scene.      
Hale also pleaded guilty to an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge.
