ANDREWS COUNTY - 2.5 million, that's the payback for storing sludge from the Hudson River.

Now, Andrews County is finding a place to use the cash.

The biggest chunk of change, 1.5 million, will go toward a new jail.

Right now, the county is looking for a location and a company to build it.

The next biggest project is their golf course.

County officials voted to use about $400,000 to do repair work.

The rest will be divided between a family activity center, a sprinkler system for the 4-H center, and improvements to county parks.
