MIDLAND - A former RCDC employee has pleaded to accepting bribes in exchange for smuggling contraband, including tobacco and cell phones, to prisoners.
62-year-old Frank Willams, Jr., a former food services employee, pleaded guilty to taking the bribes.
Back in August of 2008, Williams was caught trying to sneak in a package containing two cell phones, three cell phone chargers and a Bluetooth handset, which were to be delivered to the inmates.
Williams faces up to 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Williams will be sentenced in May.
