A former member of the Permian Basin Drug Task Force is in trouble with the law.

40-year-old Barry Neal Cooper was arrested Tuesday in Williamson County for filing a false police report.

Cooper allegedly planted a glass crack pipe and some cash inside Florence Middle School back in November.

Investigators say he then made an anonymous call to authorities reporting the incident.

Authorities were able to trace the call back to cooper and he was arrested.

After the arrest, the Travis County Sheriff's Department issued a search warrant for cooper's home, where they found marijuana.

You may remember back in January of 2009, Cooper was also at the center of the "Cop Busters" hoax involving the Odessa Police Department.
