WARD COUNTY - A Ward County inmate is likely to be sent back to central Indiana this week after local deputies arrested the teen in connection to a triple homicide.

Ward County Deputies arrested 19-year-old Barney Jose Chamorro early Saturday morning.

Federal authorities say Chamorro traveled to Texas from Whitestown, Indiana after accusations he brutally killed three family members.

Deputy David Rodriguez had spotted Chamorro's car while on patrol.

Ward County Deputies, along with State Troopers, have been helping the Texas Rangers as part of the investigation.

Authorities with Homeland Security had originally tracked Chamorro to Texas on Friday after he used his credit card.

Meanwhile, the Sheriff in Whitestown, Indiana says the crime scene where Chamorro's three family members were stabbed is one of the worst he's seen.

Police found the bodies of Judy Schindler, Alejandro Chamorro Sr. and Alejandro Chamorro Jr. on Friday.

Investigators believe the killings occurred a day earlier.
