BIG SPRING - Students at Washington Elementary in Big Spring have a hundred new books to add to their library shelves.

The Greater Big Spring Rotary Club donated the books as part of the literacy global initiative.

They received a $700 grant to purchase the books; the rest of the money was raised through fundraisers.

Every year, the Rotary Club adopts a different school.

Rotary Club members plan to read the books to the kids.

They'll be dropping Washington Elementary every week.
