Stimulus Money Builds Waste Water Plant in Eunice, New Mexico

EUNICE, NEW MEXICO - Stimulus money is pouring into the city of Eunice.

The City Manager tells NewsWest 9, they topped the list with the most cash in Lea County.

More than five million dollars went to building a new wastewater treatment plant.

They got another $300,000 for improving downtown.

Now, Eunice is in the running for about $400,000 that will expand the fire and ems station.
