PECOS/REEVES COUNTY - The City of Pecos and Reeves County are joining forces hoping to improve their area infrastructure.

The Mayor and Judge are creating the Buck Jackson Venue Tax.

It's a decision made by voters a couple years ago that allows two percent of the hotel/motel tax to be used to improve city and county sites.

That cash will help to restore historical markers and tourism development.

The issue is now making its way on both the County Commissioner's agenda and the Pecos City Council.
