Motorcycle Driver Released from the Hospital After Weekend Accident

MIDLAND COUNTY - A motorcycle driver is out of the hospital after skidding off the road.

State troopers say the accident happened Saturday just after four on Highway 158 near FM 1788.

Authorities say 52-year-old Ronald Rippe was adjusting his radio when he drifted off the road and went into a skid.

Midland EMS took him to the hospital with a few broken ribs and a bruised lung.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
