New Mexico Man Arrested After Leading Police on a High Speed Chase

EUNICE, NEW MEXICO - A New Mexico man ends up in jail after leading Eunice police on a high speed chase through Lea County.

Police say they pulled over 27-year-old Justin Belby while investigating a domestic violence case.

Belby sped off and the chase began.

Police pursued him for thirty miles, but called off the chase after speeds topped 100 miles-per-hour.

Belby was later found at a drilling rig.

He was arrested for an outstanding warrant and evading arrest.
