Republican Candidates Make a Stop in the Tall City for Their Campaigns

MIDLAND - From the state Governor's race to local county and city elections, Republican candidates from around the state made their way to Midland as part of their campaign.

On Wednesday afternoon, Gubernatorial hopeful Kay Bailey Hutchison spoke on a number of issues at the Midland Country Club as part of the Republican Women's luncheon.

She and others talked about everything from education to social values in front of more than 200 people in attendance.

In addition, a number of other familiar faces were at Wednesday's luncheon, including Gubernatorial hopeful Debra Medina and Representative Mike Conaway.
