ANDREWS - The trial of a former Winkler County nurse got underway in Andrews on Monday.
Anne Mitchell is accused of turning over private patient records to the State Medical Board to harass a doctor.
Jury selection was completed late Monday afternoon, and the 6 man 6 woman jury heard opening arguments as well as from the prosecutions first witness who was the lead investigator in the case.
The case against Vicki Galle, who was the other nurse who was allegedly involved, was dismissed last week.
Mitchell faces charges of Official Misuse of Documentation.
