MIDLAND - Some Midlanders are breathing a little easier after police arrested two suspects in a string of home break-ins.

"We are really feeling just a lot of relief," Ramey Musgrave, Member of the Greathouse Home Owners Association, said.

On Saturday morning, Midland Police arrested 18 year-old Chance Taylor Morton and 18 year-old Taylor Lane Holden McCarty with six counts of attempted burglary.

Police had been investigating the case for weeks until they finally received a Crimestoppers tip.

While neighbors tell NewsWest Nine they are breathing a little easier, they want people to continue to be vigilant.

"All the porch lights on the streets are on. People are communicating and keeping an eye out for one another. We are really glad it brought the community together and that no one got hurt." Musgrave said.

However, Tall City police still have more work to do. They tell NewsWest 9, these two arrests are not related to a home invasion on West Dengar. These suspects are also not related to multiple break-ins at Northridge Court Apartments.

Police are still investigating both of those cases.
