New Totem Pole Dedicated in Big Spring

BIG SPRING - Vandals chopped it down, but now a totem pole at the Comanche Trail Park in Big Spring is back up.

The new pole was made by 15 inmates from the Cornell Corrections Center.

Cameras will be installed around the totem pole to prevent vandals from striking it again, back in December of 2008, they chopped it down and set fire to a playground.

The original pole had been in the park for 60 years.
