ODESSA - Soaking wet floors and debris scattered everywhere; that's all that's left of Mark Dotson's apartment unit after a heavy down pour of rain came through his roof on Thursday morning.
"I'm not shocked at all. I've been telling them for months. Since it rained on several occasions, now this is what occurred," Mark Dotson said.
Dotson says he's not surprised this all happened, he's just disappointed that nothing was done to prevent it.
"I tried contacting management and nothing's been done. There's a lady across the way that has the same problem too," Dotson said.
NewsWest 9 tried talking to apartment managers but no one answered. Dotson says he decided he's no longer going to stay at Westview, but he's not sure where he'll end up.
"All my clothes are soaked, I just don't know where to go from here," Dotson said.
Dotson says he tried numerous times to contact local shelters for help, but has since been turned down for overcrowding issues. NewsWest 9 has not yet heard from the Westview apartment managers.
