Woman Hit By Train Remains in Critical Condition

MIDLAND - An update on the woman hit by a train on Monday night.

The investigator in that case tells NewsWest 9, she's still fighting for her life in the Intensive Care Unit at Midland Memorial Hospital.

A train conductor called for help after he hit the 31-year-old woman just after 9 p.m. on Monday night.

It happened on Business 20 and County Road 1250, west of the Blue Max Club.

Emergency crews frantically searched for about ten minutes to find the woman.

Officials are still investigating the case.

There's no word yet on why she was walking near the tracks.
