MIDLAND COUNTY – A Midland County home badly damaged after a trash fire gets out of control on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire happened around lunch-time at a home along South County Road 1200.
According to firefighters, the homeowner was burning trash in a barrel near some trees.
The trees caught fire and it spread to the carport, the garage, and the home.
By the time firefighters reached the scene, the garage was fully engulfed.
The carport, garage, and a truck inside were destroyed.
The home was heavily damaged by fire, smoke, and water.
