ODESSA - A door-to door salesman from out of town ended up behind bars after his sales pitch apparently angered a north Odessa homeowner.
The incident happened on Friday afternoon around 2:30, along Lamar Street.
Officers responded to a call about gunshots in the area.
The homeowner told police, two men were selling meat from a truck.
The woman asked them to leave and when they refused, she went and got a rifle and fired it in the air.
The men were still there when officers arrived.
We're told one of them got belligerent and started cursing at the officers.
