HOBBS, NEW MEXICO - Two Hobbs men are behind bars after bizarre kidnapping and assault.
30-year-old Jonah Jasso and 24-year-old Tony Allen are charged with kidnapping and conspiracy in the December 20th attack.
Police say Jasso went to the victim's home on Temple Avenue and asked for a ride.
Once he got to his home on north Mobil Road, Jasso allegedly attacked the Good Samaritan by beating, tasing, and stabbing him in the back.
A little later the second suspect showed up and police say both men tied up the victim, took him somewhere else and beat him again.
The victim was thrown in the back of a pick-up, but managed to jump out.
He ran for help at the Town and Country on West Marland.
Jasso and Allen are being held at the Lea County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
