VAN HORN - FBI agents have raided the office of a Culberson County Justice of the Peace in Van Horn. Residents said they watched the FBI move boxes out on Tuesday.

Officials with the Federal Bureau of Investigation told NewsWest 9, agents executed a search warrant at the Justice Court Precinct Building in Van Horn.

On Wednesday, NewsWest 9 found residents hesitant to talk on camera. However, a couple of staff members at the nearby Hotel El Capitan said they watched from the roof as dozens of FBI agents took items out of the Justice Court building.

There is still no word on what exactly the FBI was looking for.

NewsWest 9 tried to contact Judge Oscar Espinoza on Wednesday, but we were informed he had taken the day off for "personal reasons."
