MIDLAND COUNTY - The Midland County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing girl.
Authorities say 17-year-old Silvia Esmeralda Cardenas did not return home from school on Monday, December 7, 2009. Investigators also say she did not attend school that day. Cardenas was last seen by her parents when they dropped her off at the bus stop.
She may be in the company of 38-year-old Hector Anaya-Pedroza in a blue 1997 Ford Taurus with tinted windows and Texas plates PLM-334.
Cardenas is a Hispanic female. She was last seen wearing a pink long sleeve shirt, blue pants, pink slip-on tennis shoes and a large white purse.
