MIDLAND - A year and a day.

That's how long a Midland woman will sit in jail for selling pharmaceuticals.

51-year-old Norma Jean Spencer was sentenced on Tuesday.

Spencer was arrested back in July for selling hydrocodone to undercover officers two separate times.

She told the judge on Tuesday that she's sorry and she's old enough to know better, and blamed no one what her self.

Spencer is a former employee of Midland Memorial.

She'll check in at a women's prison in Fort Worth on February 17th.

When she completes her sentence, she'll be on probation for four years.
