A month and a half in, authorities in Marfa and Presidio say, the alien transfer exit program is a success.

According to Presidio Police and the U.S. Border Patrol, the voluntary return program has gone off without a hitch.

The border patrol started transfers November first.

Two buses a day, deliver illegal's from San Diego and Tucson, and drop them off at the Presidio Port of Entry.

Since the program started, officials say, no immigrants have tried to cross back into the Marfa sector illegally.
